🧙‍♂️ Hi, I’m a Synthesist. I help you simplify complex ideas to help tell your story with words, design, illustration, and a touch of magic.

I’ve been drawing since I could hold a pencil. I grew up copying my favorite comics (Marvel), Disney characters, and a lot of Calvin & Hobbes.

I studied 2-D Design and Photography for a couple years in college, before pursuing a degree in Audio Engineering at Full Sail University in Florida.

While working various day jobs and side hustles, I’ve always tried my hand in various creative pursuits. I’ve owned my own photography business, interned at Quad Studios in Nashville, TN, illustrated books and online education resources, mixed live sound for touring bands, written short stories and blogs (and started a few novels!)

In 2015, I started designing graphics for a church in Southaven, MS. That led to a position as a Communications Director, and eventually a promotion to the Creative Director of a multi-disciplinary team of creatives.

I found that I loved collaborating and inspiring other creative people as much as I enjoyed creating myself.

On this site, you’ll find some examples of my professional and personal work, as well as a link to Today>Someday, a site where I write about how to stay motivated while working in the creative field.

I hope you leave encouraged and inspired.

If you want to work together, I’d love to talk! Contact me here.
